Meet the team

Simon Geikie

Director

Simon is the Director of Landscape Observatory. Prior to this project commencement, he led the Strategy & Performance Team at the Peak District National Park. Simon is trained in the use of Adaptive Management and is an experienced Management Planner.

David Alexander

Research Lead

David is head of research at Landscape Observatory. He developed the mapping and AI research concept in this previous role as Senior Research Analyst at the Peak District National Park Authority. David has over 15 years’ experience in landscape-scale monitoring and geospatial analysis.

Sarah Rowley

Dissemination & Development

Sarah is responsible for relationship development and dissemination. Sarah brings 15 years of commercial business development and marketing experience combined with landscape ecology research experience following a career change.
