Landscape Observatory Officer (Evidence, Policy and Engagement)
Landscape Observatory is looking for an Evidence, Policy & Engagement Officer to join the team based in Bakewell in the Peak District National Park. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of further funding being secured.
The role
This role will support the development and delivery of the project, contributing to the three main workstreams; mapping, monitoring and climate-smart management of protected landscapes.
Working closely with the core team, protected landscapes colleagues and external partners, you will;
- help translate complex evidence into practical information that informs decision-making
- undertake policy research and reviews
- create guidance and communications
- develop reports
- coordinate stakeholder engagement activities
You will play an important role in maintaining partnership relationships, supporting knowledge exchange and ensuring the Landscape Observatory’s work is accessible, relevant and impactful for a wide range of audiences.
